Christina’s Wedding Gown Cleaning in Minnesota
Bride Christina stunned her groom (and guests) in her jaw-droppingly gorgeous Vera Wang wedding gown. Read more about her wedding and dress below!
When was your wedding and where did it take place?
We got married on September 15, 2012 at the Mill City Museum in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
When did you know that your wedding dress was “the one”?
I got my amazing Vera Wang Eleanor wedding gown at Priscilla of Boston (R.I.P!). I knew this dress was the one the moment the bridal consultants took me into the room that has special day and night lighting…that’s all when they cinched the gown tight and added the sash and veil as well! I fell in love with the gown on the spot.
What is your absolute favorite memory from your wedding day?
The best moment was my husband’s reaction when he first saw me as a bride–and how it felt seeing him and knowing that he would be my husband by the end of the day!
Why did you want to get your dress cleaned and preserved?
I want to share it with our family in the future–if we have a daughter and she likes any part of the dress, I think it would be super special for her to use what she can in her gown on her wedding day. I also just needed to get this massive dress out of my closet and into something more compact for easy storing 🙂
Why did you decide to get your gown cleaned and preserved by a member of the Association of Wedding Gown Specialists?
I brought my dress to Wedding Gown Care Specialist in New Hope, Minnesota simply because my Google searches showed them to be the absolute best in the cities when it came to all things wedding gown preservation!
