Adriana’s Wedding Gown Cleaning in Texas

When was your wedding and where did it take place?

I got married on June 13th, 2010–we had the ceremony at the Victory Arts Center and the reception at McDavid Studio (Bass Hall), both in Fort Worth, Texas.

When did you know that your wedding gown was “the one”?

I got my amazing Winnie Couture wedding gown at Bliss Bridal Salon.  The dress had been displayed in the salon window for a few months and every time I drove by it, I was swept away by its beautiful design.  When I finally decided to go into the shop one day to try on dresses, I had a really hard time settling on one.  At the end of my dress appointment, I decided to ask the sales associate if I could try on the beautiful dress in the window.  I assumed it was way out of my price range, but I knew I couldn’t leave the store without at least trying on my dream dress.  I slipped on the dress and instantly knew it was the one for me.  The sales associate then came to me with some great news–the dress was actually a sample so I was able to purchase it at a bargain!

What is your absolute favorite memory from your wedding day?

Getting ready with my friends and family was a blast–we had SO much fun!  And of course, the moment I walked down the aisle was perfect and amazing.  The reception, too, was a ton of fun.  As you can see, it’s very difficult for me to pick one favorite memory because the whole day was perfect 🙂

Why did you decide to get your wedding dress cleaned?

Like many other brides, I wanted to get my wedding dress cleaned and preserved so that one of my daughters could wear the dress on her wedding day.

Why did you choose to have your gown cleaned by a member of the Association of Wedding Gown Specialists?

Even though my wedding was almost 4 years ago, my mother insisted on making sure that the gown was finally given the proper care it deserved.  She dragged it from the back of the closet and immediately brought it to Kite’s Cleaners.  They have an excellent reputation in the Fort Worth area, and did an amazing job with my dress!
